“I…” the door swung open with the utmost enthusiasm, “am walking through the door like a normal person!!”

‘With that entrance? Certainly not, All Might-sensei.’ (Y/N) watched as the number one hero marched towards the podium.

Propping her head in her hands, she watched as All Might rambled on and on about hero stuff, one statement particularly making the class extra nervous. (Y/N) didn’t catch it though.

“-Battle Training!”

Okay, that piqued her interest so much she shot up straight from her half-asleep position on her desk, startling the poor Todoroki next to her slightly.

“Suddenly I’m a student that listens and clings on to each word you say…” (Y/N) mumbled as she focused on listening to every word the number one hero spouted, albeit most of it being unnecessarily just facts. Todoroki raised an amused brow at that comment, not saying anything.

Lockers from inside the wall started to slide out, revealing boxes upon boxes of costumes –or rather, gear– lined up neatly in rows with numbers on them.

(Y/N)’s eyes sparkled expectantly as she stood up with the rest of the class to take their outfits out of the shelves.

Taking out her outfit, which consisted of a pitch-black cape with a hood, boots that were a bit lower than her knee, a half-cape plus a wonderful starlight scheme with the rest of her clothes, topping it off with a red scythe.

It took (Y/N) by slight surprise that only she had a lethal weapon on her. Yet even Aizawa-sensei himself didn’t say anything about it, so (Y/N) and the others assumed it was okay.

Stepping into Ground Beta, (Y/N)’s eyes widened.

‘It’s clean!! It’s clean!!! I REPEAT, IT’S CLEAN!!’ She cheered silently as she crouched down slightly to feel the dirt. It felt impossibly nice as well.

“Alright-y, class!” All Might announced as he waved his hands to catch everybody’s attention, as if he didn’t have it, “You will be split into groups of two!”

A onslaught of questions suddenly arose as All Might sweat-dropped. (Y/N) looked bored. She hated introductions to the core. Sometimes, she wished the world would run in such a way where they gave you instructions, a demo, and then, boom, you were off to try it yourself.

“Listen up!” All Might enthusiastically exclaimed, “The teammates you will be getting are decided by drawing lots!”

‘Mhm. Agreeable, since you don’t always get who you want during a hero mission. Or should I say, a villain one?’ (Y/N) thought to herself as she walked over to draw a lot.

‘Team… B? Uh-oh, I’ve replaced either Todoroki or Shoji.’ Looking at her piece of paper to double-check if her eyes were functioning properly, she saw, in her peripheral vision, a dual-toned hair boy approaching her. Great, so she replaced Shoji.

Truth to be told, the girl had no idea how their quirks would work together.

“You’re with me.”

Dang, not even a ‘hello’ for starters? Well, that’s Shoto Todoroki for you. Also, why the flying frick did his outfit look so damn ugly?! Who designed it?! Shaking off her thoughts, (Y/N) turned to smile at him,

“Yes, I’m with you.”

They headed up to the monitoring room, where they watched as Team A (Midoriya and Uraraka) was up against Team D (Bakugo and Iida).

“What a bad match-up… There’s an already existing rivalry between Midoriya and Bakugo, and now their paired up against each other…” (Y/N) analyzed as Yaoyorozu next to her nodded in agreement.

“Agreed, (L/N). I do not know how you know of their existing rivalry, however, it’s also easily tellable by the way that Bakugo looks at Midoriya,” she gestured towards the monitor, where Midoriya was busy dodging blast after blow from Bakugo.

“Also,” (Y/N) leaned in closer towards Yaoyorozu, “sorry you had to be paired with Mineta out of everyone.”

The ravenette shook her head, sighing,

“Even I feel sorry for myself as well, so no need to worry, (L/N).”

The fierce battle ended as Midoriya dealt the final blow by changing the trajectory of Bakugo’s explosive attack.

(Y/N) and Todoroki were up next as they walked out towards the building with Yaoyorozu wishing them good luck.

“Alright, now, before you freeze the building inside out, I beg you to not do that.” (Y/N) requested as Todoroki turned to her, intrigued as to how she could read him like a book.

“If there were substances inside that were water-reactant explosives, that wouldn’t end well, would it?” she asked, pointing out size of the building and the very likely possibility of water-reactant substances being in there.

“Touchè. Well, what do you suppose we do, then?” Todoroki replied. (Y/N) contemplated their options for a moment before replying,

“I use my sensing abilities –no, I will not answer any questions about my quirk– to tell you where our opponents are, and then we go to the floor below,  you freeze ‘em, and we’ll be on our merry way. By the way, has anyone told you that your costume only looks good because you’re so unbelievably good-looking?” (Y/N) said as she looked at Todoroki.

He was beyond flabbergasted by what she just said. He got the plan and was okay with it, but the last sentence? Oh, that really caught him off-guard.

“-Earth to Shoto Todoroki? Hellooo?”

“Ah. Sorry about that. I zoned out for a minute. Thank you for the compliment, I guess.” he replied, heart warming up a little at the fact that someone called him good-looking.

“You’re welcome. Just stating facts. Anyways, we better get a move on, as in real-life situations, we probably don’t have time to squander left and right.” (Y/N) pointed towards the menacing building as the duo sprinted inside.

Once they were in, (Y/N) used her quirk to barricade the door, as to remove all escape routes for the villains, assuming the civilians were all evacuated or simply not even there in the first place.

“Fi-... No, sixth floor –this is a seven story building, by the way– Northeast,” she told the two-toned hair boy next to her, who nodded and rushed up the steps.

“I could just teleport him there to save time… Sure, let’s do that.” (Y/N) decided as a hologram popped up again, as (Y/N) inserted Todoroki’s file and sent the file to the fifth floor, where Todoroki suddenly found himself.

He shrugged off his confusion when he deducted it was just (Y/N)’s quirk, put his hands up to the ceiling with a height booster from his quirk, and froze the entirety of the sixth floor.

(Y/N) appeared beside him as a hologram before corporealizing, and gave him a thumbs up. Twirling their capture tape on her finger, (Y/N) teleported to the sixth floor before busting the door down, revealing a trapped Ojiro and Hagakure.

Wrapping them neatly with the capture tape, Todoroki walked into the room and placed his hands on the nuclear weapon.

“Item secured.” he announced as the speaker declared the heroes as the winners.

“Great job, Todoroki. Hope to fight with you again.” (Y/N) said as she whisked past the boy, heading back towards the monitoring room.
